Supporting your child's learning
Children are always learning. Learning can begin anywhere. Learning is for life and requires dedication, curiosity and a purpose. A love of learning enriches everything we do.
How can you support your child's learning? Listen to your child and find out what excites them. Talk to your child about ways they can further their own knowledge and skills.
You can support the work your child does a school in a number of ways. Weekly homework helps reinforce some of the things the children have learned. Children at All Saints' take home weekly homework which includes maths and English.
We provide access to an online Mathematics tuition programme called Mathletics. Children from year 2 to Year 6 have access to this. If you have trouble logging in with your child then please get in touch with your child's teacher. Work on Mathletics is linked to the National Curriculum and is a great way of practising the things children learn in class. Below is a link to Mathletics.
All Saints' school also provides an online reading tool to help the children. Scholastics Pro is a reading tool where children can log in, read books and test themselves on how well they have read. Below is a link to Scholastic Pro.
All children also have access to an online tool called Purple Mash. Purple Mash can be used to support learning throughout the curriculum. Follow the link to Purple Mash.
Please get in touch with your child's teacher if you have problems logging in.
