ASSA - All Saints' School Association

We are very fortunate to have a thriving school association.  ASSA plans various social and fund-raising events throughout the school year.  Last year fund-raising initiatives included a Christmas and Summer Fair, Bedtime Stories for younger children, and popular Quiz and Bingo Evenings for parents.  The funds raised by ASSA are used to provide extra equipment and facilities for the school outside the normal school budget. 

ASSA is run by a 'Social Committee' comprising a Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer and usually two parent representatives from each class.  In addition as ASSA is a registered charity there is an 'Executive Committee' made up of 7 charity trustees, which oversees what ASSA does and agrees spending requests.

The Class Rep is an important link between the Committee and parents.  Typically class reps help organise events, may run a stall at an event, and help publicise and sell tickets within their class.
