We made excellent use of the borough sports competitions by directing staff to accompany the children on as many sports events as possible. We participated in rugby, netball, football and athletics competitions. We also used specialist sports coaches to provide quality sports lessons in addition to the sports coaching provided during teacher's PPA time. We paid for additional swimming lessons for year 6 who were in danger of leaving All Saints' not being able to swim 25 meters. We purchased a net for the Multi Use Games Area to make ball games more rewarding.
Below are estimates of costs
| Money Spent | Action | Impact |
| £3000 | Cover our multi use games area with a net. | Ball games were challenging on our MUGA. Balls were lost over the fence too easily. A net made games more rewarding. |
| £3000 | Sports Coaching from All4Sport | In addition to PE provided for the children during teachers PPA time, additional coaching is provided to ensure children were ready for athletics competitions. The children came 4th in the borough athletics competition. This competition involved all of the KS2 classes. |
| £2000 | Coaching for Year 5 and Year 6 in cricket, rugby and football | Additional specialist coaching in cricket and football increased participation and ensured the school was very competitive in cricket, rugby and football. |
| £3000 | Resources for PE | Replacing resources which were broken and increasing equipment available including new table tennis tables and athletics equipment. |
| £1700 | Maintenance of the minibus | This allows us to use the minibus to transport children to competitive matches efficiently. |
| £2322 | Swimming Lessons | Most children can swim 25 meters by the time they leave All Saints'. Children still unable to swim 25 meters at the end of year 6 are invited to summer swimming lessons at Oakleigh Swimming School. |
| £7000 | Staffing |
Overtime and staff paid in school time so we can provide children with sports competitions. The salary of our sports coach is also funded by the sports premium. |

The children were not allowed to play team sport for most of the academic year, borough competitions were cancelled and children were often taught from home. Despite these challenges, we used the sports premium to increase participation in exercise.

| £2040 | Additional Sports Coaches to work with children attending school during lockdown. | The specialist teaching allowed some children, whose parents were working hard to support the country during the pandemic, to have quality PE lessons. It also ensured that the PE provider was able to stay in business at a time of financial strain. This would ensure that PE provision is as good as it can be once the pandemic is over. |
| £13067 | Staffing of specialist teaching assistants to support children in PE. | Teaching Assistant used their time both in school and online to motivate children to engage in physical activity. This was invaluable. |
