ALL SAINTS' CURRICULUM
The All Saints' curriculum is designed to promote curiosity and develop oracy skills, whilst ensuring progressive and in-depth learning opportunities for all children across all subject areas.
The daily timetable in KS1 and KS2 includes teaching reading, daily, as well as hearing readers (Please click here for more information: Reading At All Saints'); an English lesson linked to a core text; maths, following the White Rose scheme, daily opportunities for worship including prayers and assembly; a daily run which supports well-being and physical education. Each KS1 and KS2 class will also be following the curriculum map which shows when other subjects are learnt.
In response to our parents survey, you can find detailed information about each year group's curriculum here:
The following document is a schematic of which subjects are being taught in each year group at any given time.
At the beginning of each term, there is a project week linking to the United Nations ‘Sustainable Development Targets’.
UN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
The aim of our approach is to empower our children to be change-makers:
We want our children to be knowledgeable young people, with a strong moral compass who can make a difference in the world.
Head: Informed and curious; able to find things out
Heart: Having a strong sense of right and wrong; good values
Hands: Be courageous and willing to be a change-maker
